Yes. The company is licensed, bonded and insured under the BC Security Services Act. The locksmith at your door can show identification and licensing. Ask to see it.
Is there a locksmith call-out fee?
Yes. It is separate from the work and pays for a licensed locksmith and a stocked van coming to you. We confirm it with the job price before any work begins. The figure is on the price guide.
How quickly can you arrive?
Call with your location and we will give you the current window. Traffic, bridges, parking, weather and the job in front of yours all matter. A real estimate is less exciting than a guaranteed fifteen minutes, and considerably more useful.
Will you damage my lock or door?
We start non-destructive whenever the lock and the situation allow it. If drilling or replacement is needed, you get the reason and the price first. No surprise holes.
Is it cheaper to rekey or replace a lock?
Rekeying usually wins when the lock is sound and the old keys just need to stop working. Replacement wins when the hardware is worn, damaged or wrong for the door. We price both when both make sense.
Can you make and program car keys?
Most vehicle types, including smart keys. The price mostly comes down to the year, make, model, key type and whether any working key remains. We confirm the vehicle and the price before any work begins; all-keys-lost jobs need different equipment.
