Locksmithing is a licensed trade in British Columbia under the Security Services Act. Doing locksmith work for hire requires a licence under that Act, and you can check any locksmith's business or worker licence in the provincial registry.
Ask us for our licence number when you call, then check it against the Province's Security Licence Status Verification service before you book. The locksmith who arrives will show identification without being asked.
The company is licensed, bonded and insured. Practically, that means if something is damaged in the course of the work, there is a policy behind the apology.
